The Estrela Music Summer Camp is a training and artistic initiative dedicated to young musicians of various skill levels and instruments, held annually in the city with the highest altitude in Portugal – Guarda. Bringing together promising talents under the guidance of conductor Osvaldo Ferreira and renowned national and international teachers, the project offers an intensive experience of technical and artistic refinement in an environment of sharing, creativity, and musical excellence.

Over the course of one week, participants join a symphony orchestra, exploring challenging and diverse repertoires, culminating in several high-level concerts. The Estrela Music Summer Camp also promotes personal and collective growth, fostering teamwork, a passion for music, as well as plenty of fun and friendship. With the inspiring backdrop of Serra da Estrela, this experience uniquely combines nature, culture, and musical education, establishing itself as a reference among orchestral music summer camps in Portugal.
